A Guide Wire can be installed in the floor of the ailes to allow steering guidance for fork lift trucks. It is used in automatic (driverless) operations - or guides the lift truck through the aisle without driver involvement. Low voltage power is fed into the guide wire which creates an electro-magnetic field. The lift trucks, via the antennas follow this field exactly.
