Regulation for the Operation of Fork Lift
TrucksFor the operation of fork lift trucks the following regulations must be
obeyed.
We have to differentiate between running the trucks inside building - and operation on
public roads.
- Running trucks inside buildings or on private property.
OSHA Safety Rules and Regulations - ANSI Capacity and Safety Regulations - as well as
special regulations for operating fork lift trucks under spark proof and explosion proof
conditions.
- Operating fork lift trucks on public roads.
- The same OSHA and ANSI Rules and Regulations apply. In addition the fork lift truck
must have a Motor Vehicle License and the driver must have a valid drivers license.
